Good day, we’r eatery designers. We emerge out of a careful analysis of how contemporary life constantly evolve and changes the world of gastronomy.

FIVE  LAB  DE5IGN is a Malaysia based eatery design and construction company lead by Kai Zheng Lim (KAIZEN). KAIZEN obtained Master In Architecture from University of Melbourne in 2013. Upon completion of his study, he practiced in an award-winning architecture firm CH&I ARCHITECTURE SDN BHD, where he in charge of several big-scale residential development projects. From there KAIZEN gain in- terest in, developed and mastered his skill of user oriented space design. In 2017, KAIZEN decided to pursue his ambition in merging the world of design with gastronomy and formed an eatery design and construction team.

Because he believes in ‘ALWAYS BE BETTER’, more precise and finer works will eventu- ally create values to the clients, market and society. Therefore even though the firm has an extensive design portfolio in master planning, high-rise and landed residential project, hospitality, offices and retails since it establishment in 2014, KAIZEN decided to specialized in one – EATERY DESIGN.
